Connect with YOU not with wifi
I don't need to point out the distractions we face everyday, you are already fully aware of the mindless "status scrolling" and negative new filled energies that we find ourselves being pulled into.
I have a challenge for you. One that I PROMISE you, will begin to change your life for the better....VERY quickly!
Pick one day of the week, can be any day, but make sure it remains consistent every week.
Make sure loved ones or important people in your life, know the day before, that you not be able to be gotten a hold of for the next 24 hours....and then TURN OFF YOUR PHONE! Hide it. Put it in a drawer. If you can't turn it off for emergency use only, than put it on silent.
Take an entire day, phone, tv and computer free. You will be shocked with the amount of free time you find that you actually have. Take that time....those countless hours staring at a screen, and do something...even if that thing is reading a book. Take time to be YOU. BREATHE. OPEN YOUR EYES.
Here are some ideas on what you can do on this wifi/phone/computer/television free day
- Read a book
- Write a letter...on paper...and mail it to someone!
- Take a walk
- Meditate
- Do Yoga
- Watch the sunset
- Gaze at the stars
- Take a bath
- Play with your kids/friends/lover/animals
- Cook something time consuming
- Start a journal
- Be artistic
- Paint
- Write a story
- Build something
- Explore somewhere new
- Play a board game
- Clean your home
- Sleep
- Listen to your favorite song and dance
I challenge you to take these changes....just 1 day out of the week and see the amazing and wonderful changes blossom right before your eyes.
